Cartela is a 111 year old Tasmanian built timber ferry owned by the Cartela Trust on behalf of the people of Tasmania. Out of service for 9 years, the vessel is in need of restoration.
Restoring her to operational standard would have significant benefits for Tasmania, and the Huon Valley in particular.
